Tami, I can't help but wonder how you are tolerating this torrential rain we are getting. I'd call you, but you may be moving things from the basement. Oh, I hope not.
Yep....I was moving stuff from the basement :( We were doing fine for awhile, but when there was too much water for the drains in the road to handle...the road started covering with water. I told Cam he wasn't allowed to go to the window to check the creek level or to see what the road looked like anymore. The creek overflowed, the road was covered, the fire department came, there is water in my basement - but not nearly as much as there was 1 year and 5 days ago. We'll clean it up, have a DRINK and I'll plan my speech for the next City Council meeting. Maybe I'll take my jahng bahng!!
